As spring warms the North coast, visitors turn their interest to a variety of leisure activities offered in Prince Rupert. The Prince Rupert Golf course has experienced an early start to the season. Local tour operators Prince Rupert Adventure Tours is preparing for Grizzly viewing at the Kutzamateen Grizzly sanctuary. Also the Metlakatla Wilderness Trail has re-opened for the season and offers an exclusive trail experience in the village of Metlakatla. Earlier this week we had a visit from a group of orcas who travelled into the Prince Rupert harbour providing a whale watching opportunity for guests in the Waterfront Restaurant and Charley’s Lounge.
